Merry Christmas Everyone!!

Well it's officially been Christmas Eve now for about 4 1/2 hours. Yes... it's 4:30 am where I live...lol... and I am still up. This is because my family celebrates Christmas on Christmas Eve and now (since my grandmothers passing) saves Christmas Day for the individual family's. I like this since I live about 30-40 miles away from my family, my step kids live about 35 miles past that and my oldest and her husband (and my kids dad) live 65 miles in a different direction. If you drew it out it would look look like a triangle with one oddly formed side. All this and I hate to drive..lol. Now my only hurdle is wrapping. I finished my shopping (ok all that absolutely HAD to be done before Christmas Day) and I am now in the wrapping stage.

I did it!

Well, after a looonngg time of taking classes and learning how to do all the necessary organization I FINALLY DID IT!! I participated in my first Internet Predator Bust! There's alot I know I can't divulge... but it was soo exhausting and exhilarating at the same time. I did get a couple (out of many annoying and some downright disgusting IMs) that are going to be wishing they had never used the computer in the first place.

I know there is so much more that I would like to write, but at the moment my brain is still recovering from the days on end that I have spent talking to these individuals and I can't keep all these thoughts straight. I'll write more as I can get them straight, but for now I am just happy that I can make a difference and take one more sick individual off the internet and save a child from a tragic encounter.

As you can tell I'm not the greatest at writing down things and expressing myself well. I have had to edit out the 2 previous posts due to the fact that, although they may have been accurate for the time they were written, as I look back at them, they really are nothing but angry rants. So I have saved you the trouble of reading about my anger.

To begin with I am a mother of 5. 21yo Tricia, 17yo (18 in Dec) Pat, 16yo Katie, 15yo (16 later this month) Andy, and 13yo (14 in Dec) Sarah. The 3 oldest are mine and the 2 youngest are my step kids. Our 21 yo is married now and lives about 1 & 1/2 hours away. The next 2 oldest live here with my husband and I full time and the next 2 youngest live with their mom, again about 1 & 1/2 hours away in another direction. So needless to say we drive alot!

I think I'm going to make this post a bit short and sweet for right now, as I'm really just starting out on this thing. My whole thought with this is to do a bit of journalling and be able to release a little stress at the end of the day.
